Job boards sell you access to a database and leave the screening to you. Higher Orbit reads every CV — the ones you upload as much as the ones that apply — scores them against each open role, and gives your team the assessment, pipeline and reporting in the same place. You pay for candidates you actually assess, not for seats.
Posting jobs and keyword matching are free, and every new company gets 100 welcome credits. After that it is pay as you go: 1 credit per AI-matched candidate, half a credit per CV uploaded, and 1 credit per video assessment answer, at ₹5 a credit. A Growth plan at ₹9,999 a month includes 2,500 credits for teams that would rather have a fixed monthly line.
Everything after the application happens here: CVs are parsed and scored, candidates move through stages you name yourself, video assessments and their AI scoring live on the candidate record, and vendor or client coordination happens in the same system. No downloading CVs, no spreadsheet of who is where, no separate ATS subscription.
Yes. You name your own pipeline stages and reorder them per your process, set a fitment threshold on each job, decide which questions a video assessment asks and what a good answer looks like, and choose which sources feed a role — your own CV pool, applications, the Higher Orbit network or your vendors.
No. There is no subscription requirement and no seat tax — you buy credits, and unused credits do not expire. Enterprise agreements exist for volume rates, integrations and procurement paperwork, but nothing about the product is locked behind them.
Each CV is read into skills, seniority, education and location, then compared with the role in context rather than by keyword count. You get a skill-by-skill breakdown per candidate, and you set the threshold per job. A keyword gate sits underneath, so an obvious mismatch never costs you a credit.
It is built for both. Candidates agree separately to CV sharing and to assessment recording, in versioned wording we can evidence; recordings are destroyed after 30 days; candidates can export or delete their data; and every company accepts a Candidate Data Agreement before using candidate data. Our Privacy Policy publishes the Grievance Officer and DPDP nominee.
